Celebrating Diversity
I learned how to accept differences in everyone, to embrace diversity and how to invest in certain situations wisely to get returns.
I enjoyed the part about the food graph and trying to queue in the order of our birthday without talking and mouthing out the words.
It can help to develop certain traits in us, like patience.

Chapter 4: Algebra Puzzle
My solution (Method 1):
3 Pears = 27
Therefore, 1 Pear represents 9.
2 Pears + 1 Umbrella = 24
Since 1 Pear represents 9,
18 + 1 Umbrella = 24
Therefore, 1 Umbrella represents 6.
2 Umbrellas + 1 Apple = 25
Since 1 Umbrella represents 6,
12 + 1 Apple = 25
Therefore, 1 Apple represents 13.
So, 1 Pear = 9
1 Umbrella = 6
1 Apple = 13
3 Pears = 27
Therefore, 1 Pear represents 9.
2 Pears + 1 Umbrella = 24
Since 1 Pear represents 9,
18 + 1 Umbrella = 24
Therefore, 1 Umbrella represents 6.

12 + 1 Apple = 25
Therefore, 1 Apple represents 13.
So, 1 Pear = 9
1 Umbrella = 6
1 Apple = 13

Post-Orientation Reflection
What were 3 of the highlights of the Orientation and the last 2 weeks?
What were 3 of the "low" moments of Orientation and the last 2 weeks?
What are 3 of my greatest takeways/lessons from the Orientation and the last 2 weeks?
What did you learn about yourself in the last 2 weeks?
What are you looking forward in 2011?
1.The camp, the Badge Ceremony and the closing of the camp.
2.Not being able to do at least two courses during the camp, the closing of the camp and when it rained during the camp which prevented us from going out to do the high elements.
3.How to manage transitions, the end of the camp and how to work with each other.
4.I learnt that I can be bored easily if there are not enough engaging activities.
5. I am looking forward to a great year in the SST community and a great Sec 1 year.

Day 2: End-of Day Reflection
I have competed in a tower building challenge, completed Mac Attack activities and did a dance and some cheers.
I have grown in my areas of responsibility, teamwork and leadership.
We should behave seriously and not joke around until the last minute where everyone starts panicking about their unfinished groupwork. We should finish our work before relaxing.
There are differences as everyone sees everything from a different angle, from a different perspective.
I am happy to be a member of my class as it is very fun and all the students are very easy to get along with.
